I teach classes on Zoom every Sunday and Thursday for people wanting to try their hand at acting and cultivate the experience of workshopping material. I aim to teach beginners and intermediate students who have always been told, “you’re so funny, you should stand up” or “gosh, you’re so dramatic, you should be an actor.” Maybe those compliments and passive-aggressive comments were onto something, and the person on the receiving end of these statements should actually give their inner Rain Man a shot.
